CHALLENGE

Using our personal cell phones to message customers was getting disorganized.

USA Insulation is a Threshold Brands franchise that specializes in providing top-notch residential insulation installation services. We previously used our personal cell phones to text customers at our Charlotte location, but we wanted to find a professional platform to keep things organized. We looked at a couple of other SMS solutions, but none of them had the features we wanted. Text Request had everything we needed, plus ease of use and reasonable pricing.

APPROACH

Text messaging is useful for the entire lifecycle of the customer.

The best thing about Text Request is that it lets us text-enable our location’s main phone number. We already advertise that number everywhere, so it was easy for customers to immediately start messaging it. 

Now we text to set up appointments, confirm the appointments, prep customers for the appointments, and follow up after the appointments. Unless we add a signature, customers can't see who responded, which allows us to tag-team conversations. Text Request also allows us to know when someone is typing a response to a customer, so we don’t have to worry about double responses. 

Our team uses Text Request’s mobile app constantly. We love being able to see incoming texts on our personal phones, but have them stored separately from our personal messages inside Text Request’s app. This makes responding on the go seamless.

RESULTS

The number of jobs we’ve scheduled has increased with Text Request.

It’s so easy to start the conversation by text, schedule a phone call to get more details, and then make any changes to the appointment as needed by text. We’ve noticed that customers won’t take the time to call and ask small questions, but they will take the time to text them. Having that quick and easy access to us has ultimately improved our overall customer satisfaction and increased the number of jobs we’ve scheduled.
