Not magic, just great software.

Two Sides to Every Line.
Every phone number has a voice side and a messaging side. With your permission, we attach our service profile ID (SPID) to the messaging side of your number, telling mobile carriers that Text Request is handling your texts.
Message Routing.
Once our SPID is attached, any texts sent to your business number will be delivered to your Text Request account. Any calls to your number will be handled the same as always—no change there, we don’t handle voice services.
No Mobile Numbers.
Mobile carriers have called permanent dibs on cell phone numbers, so service providers like us can’t add our SPID to mobile numbers or use them with our platform. We can use landline, VOIP, and toll-free numbers.

Set It Up

Takes a few steps, but it’s a simple process.
Add texting to your business phone numbers.
Grant Permission. For both new accounts and existing. Verify you own the number, state your use case for texting, and sign a letter of authorization (LOA) giving us permission to add our SPID to your number. Takes a few minutes to several hours depending on your speed.
10DLC Registration. We’ll take this to The Campaign Registry (TCR) for verification, so carriers will deliver more of your texts and do it faster. Verification is typically instantaneous.
